A nightmare – a strong statement that to check, as in the first game, is pleasant enough. Passing the story of the game, it was pleasant to get new details about the world of the game and, most importantly, about the main character. The uncleaned arch about his family receives significant details during the plot of the second game, Seba’s motives are more attracted, because they are more personal and sensual. But in some places there were moments when the change of events seemed too frisky (after the photographer), and the remarks became clinical (in the finale itself, I won’t spoil … Administrator Taldychit monologue). In general, the plot is quite good, with a very interesting intrigue and events, albeit not too interesting the interaction of the characters. Nevertheless, there is symbolism in some details (bosses, for example), and the production of some scenes – especially in the final – causes purely positive emotions.

But unlike Re, there are sites here that allow you to open new guns or interesting scenes that open references to the first game with cutting its scenario branches or ending with the path of n-spectacular characters of the game. The introduction of the dialogue system, which is completely bought, only gives access to additional tasks or begins filler dialogs of varying degrees of usefulness for the disclosure of the Black of the game. I strongly do not recommend skipping them, since there are supplies that are useful for survival, and the staged scenes are very cool and atmosphericly made. Moreover, the flamethrower is a specific character of the game that appears in a certain rather weak drama after death. But the polyphonic woman is this essence, and why can she be in several places at the same time – it is incomprehensible. There are also some problems with the pace and rhythm of the narrative that I have already mentioned. Sometimes the first part was more than Adova in terms of changing locations, which in the first half of “The Evil Within 2” is less than even in the half of the first. But there is compensation for both the plot and filling, and theodorous locations are very in the spirit of the original. In addition, when a certain boss dominates in the narrative, the gamma becomes the color of its flowers (Stefanno is dark blue, Theodore is dirty-orange, uh … well … the final boss is white or light gray).
It is in small details that the charm of the game lies. Both in the boltological and gameplay parts of “The Evil Within 2”, many of everything can be interpreted and comprehended. There are few such Survival-Horror’. With such a script filling, I remember only two games, or rather the game series: “Silent Hill” and “Clock Tower”. But both of these episodes are slow and viscous in the gameplay, and the player in them feels his insignificance. The Evil Within series allows you to feel superiority over the enemy, not forgetting to say: "I created this world, you can’t keep me here". It provides a space for a maneuver in survival as a “resident evil”, and the psychological nature of the plot makes it much deeper. The Evil Within 2 is even more reminiscent of Silent Hill, and some plot aspects are a specific part. The game is more free, but no less complicated. She is more personal, but does not forget about large storylines. And even if there are scanty disadvantages on the verge of nit -picking, but “The Evil Within 2” – an exemplary sequel at least a good game.
